The Stairs...

Ava's New Hobby

Cute Videos of Ava

Fun Times at the Ashby's

Our romantic Valentine's dinner on our balcony
Dave suprised me and decorated it with lights and everything. What a cutie!

A few weeks ago I hosted a Favorite Things party. My sister gave me the idea. I'm not really sure our house was large enough to accomadate the 33 girls who came but we all got a little cozy and got to know each other better. It was a lot of fun and hopefully everyone who came had a good time.

Thanks everyone for coming!! We'll have to do it again sometime.
Happy Birthday to me!! I turned the big 29!! I know it is hard to believe. Most people are completely shocked when I tell them my age but it is true I am officially in the last year of my 20's.
Dave and Ava got me a rose and a sweet card.
Then Dave took me out to Ah-So (a Tepanyaki restaurant). It was delicious!!
Our chef was so funny and did an awesome job. Thank you so much Angel for babysitting Ava so we could go out!!

Updates

She is so cute and growing up so quickly! The bandage around her arm I explained below.
She loves bread and likes to be so independent by eating it all by herself...
So no one ever told me these biter biscuit things were so messy. I bought them while at the store and opened them there to distract Ava while she was getting bored. This picture was taken after a slight clean up. It was everywhere!!

Well this post is for everyone who has told me that I haven't posted on our blog forever. It's true. I'm sorry. Our computer actually crashed a few weeks ago and we were able to finally get it up and running. I told Dave we are NEVER buying a Dell computer again. That is how mad I was at the hours and hours of time spent on the phone with people that don't speak English (not meant to be mean or racist just honest!!) Most of the conversation was this:

Dell: gibber gibber gibber

Me: Huh? Can you repeat that? I don't understand? What am I supposed to do?

Dell : gibber gibber gibber. Spend a million dollars on some software (I understood that - I swear they were trying to get me to buy something every two seconds). More gibber.

Me: ARRRGHHHHH!!!

So anyways long story short it was a nightmare and several hundred dollars and hours later our computer was fixed. I really think Dell has some sort of conspiracy where they find people (like myself) that don't know the slightest thing on how to fix a computer and push some button that makes my computer crash so I have to call and spend a ton of money for them to press a few buttons and magic my computer is all of a sudden fixed. Seriously it's ridiculous! Sometimes I love and hate technology all at the same time.

But anyways... Enough about that let's move on to more exciting things like more cute pictures of Ava:

She loves "riding" around on this little bike thing. Mainly I push her around the house on it and she laughs and thinks it is the best thing ever. She loves opening the slot in the front and putting random things in it.
She's getting so big... Well grown up anyways she's still a runt. We had to go back to the doctor a few days ago to check her weight again and I was so proud of her for gaining a whole pound and 5 ounces until the doctor came in and said she was still only in the 3% for her weight and she sent us to get some blood work taken to make sure everything is ok.. I was totally dreading this! I hate seeing Ava in pain but she was a little champ. They took her blood like an adult - right above the elbow. They tied that little stretchy elastic around her bicep and then found a good vein and stuck the needle in. I was about to cry until I realized Ava was just staring at them. She didn't make a peep. What a tough little girl! I was so proud! We are still waiting on the results but I feel like everything is fine and she is just small. Hopefully that is true.
What a cutie!
