Our Potty Princess

I wish I had pictures for this post but I don't know if you would want to see them. Today was Ava's 2 month check up at the Pediatrician - We can't believe she is that old! Anyways, Ava created quite a mess there. They did the routine temperature check (in her bottom) and she decided it would be a great time to poop all over the table and nurse. It was lovely! Then it came time to weigh her. I put her on the scale and then was told to remove her diaper to get an accurate weight... Bad idea! She peed all over the scale and herself. Apparently she hasn't learned to control her bodily functions but we are working on that :). Ava now weighs 10 lbs. 3 oz. and is 22 1/4 inches long (the 25% for both height and weight - she is a little thing and we love her so much!).

We are official homeowners!! We closed on our new home in Glendale, AZ today. Dave will be starting Medical school out there in August and we are so excited!! It will be so nice to not live in apartments anymore and have a place of our own. Dave's brother, Ric, helped us so much (as we bought the house before we even went and looked at it - but Ric told us it was a great property and we should jump on it so we did and we are so glad!! Thanks Ric!!) Dave went out and took some pictures for us and it does look amazing. It is about a half mile from Dave's campus. We are sad to leave Texas in July but excited to start school and be out in AZ close to Dave's family.

Uh Oh!!!

After bath time Ava had a little accident... It took a second to realize that this wasn't bath water! Dave had pee all over him. You wouldn't think something so small could go so much. We love Ava's face in this picture. It is as if she knew she had done something wrong even though we were laughing so hard - at least I was anyways. She is so funny. We can't believe she will be 2 months old this week!!!

Our Little Bugsy!

For those of you who haven't seen "Bedtime Stories" you should. For those of you who have you may recognize Ava as one of the characters on the show. She is our little Bugsy. Ava is one of the most bright eyed little babies I have ever seen and has huge eyes just like Bugsy on the movie. Do you see the resemblence?
