It's a......

Well we went to have our big ultrasound yesterday to find out the gender of our little baby. To give you a little background... We have both kind of wanted to have a little girl; me secretly and Dave not so secretly. A few months ago Dave found a garage sale selling a bunch of baby girl clothes so he bought a bunch and brought them home. It was pretty funny but I thought if we had a boy he's going to be wearing a lot of pink :). We have been trying to get into the whole garage sale thing too because we realized how much having a little baby is going to cost and it is not cheap. We went to one a few weeks ago that was pretty disappointing but we did manage to purchase a halloween costume for our little one for 2010 because it won't fit it till then. But anyways... I was pretty convinced that we were going to have a little boy for several reasons: 1) Dave and I both wanted a girl 2) We purchased girl clothes thus cursing our chances 3) I went to lunch with my mom 2 days ago to a Chinese restaurant and right before I opened my fortune my mom said, "Wouldn't it be funny if you opened it and it said 'It's a boy.'" As I opened the fortune sure enough it said "BOY." I don't know how it happened but it was pretty hilarious especially since the odds of that happening are pretty slim and because my mom said that right as I was opening the fortune. 4) The chinese calender predicted I would have a boy. So with all those reasons I was pretty certain our little boy was coming.... Well, in case you were worried, I no longer believe in Chinese fortunes :)! We are having a little girl!!! We are very excited and can't wait until she comes... but hopefully not too soon.
